He is survived by: his wife Donna Norris Stephens; his children, Kari Putnam and Skylar Stephens; his grandchildren, Averi of Starkville, MS, Camden of Starkville, MS, Willow of Starkville, MS, Hazel of Starkville, MS and Maddox Putnam of Starkville, MS; and his brothers, Tom Stephens of Starkville, MS and George Brinson of South Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
