He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Neal McCluskey and Gertie Clara Yates McCluskey; and his brothers, James McCluskey, Charles McCluskey and Bobby McCluskey.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Landrum McCluskey; his daughter Kimberly Watts (Thomas); his sister Laverne Jones; and his grandchildren, Stormy Watts, Lindsey Daniels, Kayla Crowley and Kinsley Watts. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Good Hope Baptist Cemetery (2304 MS-15, Ovett, MS 39464).
