He is survived by: his wife Rosalind Scales; his sons, Adonis Scales of Colorado Spring, CO, Trentis Scales of Starkville, MS and Dontavious Riley of Artesia, MS; his grandchildren, Dakota Scales, Trentis Scales, Jr. of Starkville, MS, Abria Riley and Aubree Riley of Artesia, MS; his siblings, Tina Scales, Stephanie Scales, Synetra Wilson of Starkville, MS and Donnie Scales of Starkville, MS; his special blessing Jakeeta Chandler; and his aunt Mary Gardner of Starkville, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Memorial Funeral Home (103 Jefferson St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St Matthew's MB Church (2092 Red Bud Rd, Starkville, MS 39759). A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Sessums Community Cemetery (2001 Sessums Rd, Starkville, MS 39759).
