With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Doss (Starkville, Mississippi), who passed away on September 4, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Elizabeth Ann find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Williams (Nathaniel), Donnette Armstead (Leroy), Donnell Doss (Ladonna) and Vashon Ford (Lewis); and her siblings, Maxine Fields-Sargent, Ethel McCoy, Mildred Lee, Allie Hunter, Willie Doss (Linda) and Roger Doss (Essie). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Memorial Funeral Home (103 Jefferson St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Robertson MB Church (155 Cottrell St, West Point, MS 39773).
