With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Esther Kunkle of Starkville, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helge Arvidson and Judith Arvidson (Bill Kunkle); her sister Karen Arvidson Chilcote; her son James Kunkle; and her son-in-law Charles Ross.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Mervin "Bill" Kunkle; her children, Cheryl Ross and Michael Kunkle (Erica); her daughter-in-law Krista Kunkle; her brother-in-law Donald Chilcote; her nieces, Christine Bevilacqua (Gregory), Michele Wilk (Jeff) and Suzanne Chilcote (Timothy); and her grandchildren, Nicole Brocato, Ryan Whyms (Jennifer), Michael Kunkle Jr., Jesse Bucher (Bethany), Evan Bucher (Samantha), Jamie Bickel (Henry), Molly Kunkle, Emma Kunkle and Deborah Nieman (Erik).
A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Garden Park (9036 Oktoc Rd, Starkville, MS 39759).
