She was predeceased by: her husband John Earl Parrish, Jr.; her daughters, Cathy and Laura Parrish; her parents, Eugene Gatlin and Sadie Mae Price Gatlin; and her siblings, Bobby Gatlin and Loraine Gatlin Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Parrish Sparks (Allen) of Cedar Bluff, MS, Robert Eugene Parrish (Debbie) of Fayette, AL, Wesley Earl Parrish (Stephanie) of Starkville, MS and Art Parrish of Starkville, MS. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; and 2 nieces.
