We announce the death of Fred Cunningham (Starkville, Mississippi), who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 71. Fred will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adele Bernard and Fred Cunningham Sr.; his stepfather Ben Bernard; and his sisters, Linda Pascale and Adele Wilson.
He is survived by: his close friend Jim Schmidt; his wife Brenda Cunningham; his sons, Daniel and Michael Cunningham; his sister-in-law Debra Raines; and his niece Kailee Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
