He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Allan Vemer and Viola Vemer (Glassford); and his sisters, Beatrice Clatterbuck, Dorothy Updegraff and Joan Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Culpepper; his children, Deborah L. Vemer of Starkville, MS and Mark S. Vemer (Millie Vemer) of Greenwood, MS; and his grandson Hardy Dale Vemer.
