She is survived by: her children, Verneda Scales (Bobby), Lora Ann Poe, Melinda L. Poe and Darrel Poe (Brenda) of Starkville, MS.; and her grandchildren, Allie Boyd (Zekiel) of Fairburn, GA, Gywanda Scales (Ivy Rice) of Starkville, MS, Kevin Poe (Yasmine) of Starkville, MS, Aadien Davis of Starkville, MS, Shanquea Isaac of Nashville, TN and Miketta Reed of Starkville, MS.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Memorial Funeral Home (103 Jefferson St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet M. B. Church.
