He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lillie Mae and Moody Polk; his son Mark Christopher Polk; his grandson Joshua Black; his wife Joyce Saulters Polk; his children, Lynne Polk Black and Stephen Hal Polk (Melissa); his grandchildren, Mark Christopher Polk, Jr., Anne Barrett Polk Hazard (Matt), Laura Polk Phillips (Mason), Maris Black and Elizabeth Anne Polk; his great grandchildren, Foster Phillips and James Russell Hazard; and his siblings, Sandra Polk Hollingsworth and John Thomas Polk.
