He was predeceased by: his parents, James Muse Davis and Annie Ward Davis; and his sister Annie Louise Davis Shuttleworth. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Eliska Ward Counce (late Doug) of McKinney, James Muse Davis and William Enoch Prince Davis (Kacy) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Jack, Jonah and Juliet Counce; and his sister Martha Davis Biles of Jackson, Mississippi..
