He is survived by: his wife Kay Daniel; his son Joe Dan; his daughter-in-law Beth; his grandsons, Porter and Kellen; his siblings, Jackie Baker of Aliceville, AL, Johnny Baker of Columbus, MS and Janice Gregg (Ron) of Hernando, MS; his cousin Davis Baker (Kathy) of Columbus, MS; and his siblings' children, Jeff Gregg, Rusty Gregg, Troy Baker, Taft Baker, Jarrett Baker and Jodie Baker Fortenberry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
