She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wafer Edwards and Nora Lee Edwards; her former husband Paul Baughman; her son Douglas Baughman; and her siblings, Eugenia Rushing, Lora Rushing, Berline Fox, Otis Bell, Homer Edwards, John W. Edwards and Joe Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband Gaylon Alford; her daughters, Gloria Miley and Debra Roberson (Bill); and her sister Patricia McHann. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and Nannie to eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759).
