Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lewis Quinby Morgan Sr. of Starkville, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 83, on September 14, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Starkey Collins Morgan and Nannie Lou Hamer Morgan; and his brothers, William Earl Morgan, Starkey Morgan and Joe Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Derrick Morgan; his sons, Lew Morgan, Aaron Morgan (Shannon) and Hamer Morgan (Stephanie); his granddaughters, Avery, Sidney Owens, Kate and Quin; his stepgranddaughter Taylor Whitehead; his sister Nan Rushing (Johnny); and his sisters-in-law, Sue Morgan and Martha Morgan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holmes Community College Chapel (1 Hill St, Goodman, MS 39079).
