It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Joseph McCarthy III of Starkville, Mississippi, who passed away on February 13, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Joseph McCarthy, Jr. and Carol Williams-McCarthy-Burgess; his siblings, Colleen McCarthy-Roberts, Timothy McCarthy and Aileen McCarthy; his grandmother Mary Williams; and his father-in-law Kelton Lee Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Vicky Rene Anderson-McCarthy; his child Dana McCarthy (Angel); his grandson Michael Clayton McCarthy; his brothers, Sean McCarthy and Kevin McCarthy (Amy); and his mother-in-law Myrtle Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church of Starkville.
