She was predeceased by: her husband Raleigh E. Wood, Jr.; her son Raleigh E. Wood, III; her parents, H. D. Wooten and Blanche Wooten; her siblings, Wilton, Perry, Raleigh Wooten, Annie Mae Kopf and Nora Lea Boling; and her brother-in-law Bennett Wood.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Meg Wood; her sons, Joe (Leslie), Andy (Donna) and Marcus Wood; her grandchildren, Lindsay Hayes (Logan), Katie Spring (Brett), Reiv Wood (Micah), Jacob Wood (Maggie), Marc, Parker, Paul, Ryan, Ethan, Will and Laura Beth Wood; her great grandchildren, Hallie and Mary Claire Hayes; and her sisters-in-law, Patsy Wooten and Margie Wood. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
