She is survived by: her husband Melvin Davis; her mother Dollie Hogan Harris; her son Troylanda Hogan (Safiya Cathey) of Auburn, GA; her brothers, John Metric Hogan (Debra) of Tupelo, MS, William Larry Gillespie of Starkville, MS and William Troy Hogan of Starkville, MS; her grandchildren, Deatwan Gillespie of Mia Duck, D. J, Seriniti Walter, Gabriella Hogan and Sean Gibbs; and her caregiver Danette Purnell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Memorial Chapel (103 Jefferson St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet M. B. Church.
