She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Skelton and Annie Skelton; her husband C. Dalton; her children, John Walt Dalton and Karla Beam; her great grandchild Brianna Bell; her siblings, J. W. Skelton (Dub), John Skelton, Chris McCall, Olene Dallas, Eva Strong and Linda Jackson; George Cronin.
She is survived by: her sister Jo Ann Williams; her daughters, Paula Johnson, Dana Buford and Audrey Franks; and her grandchildren, Dean, Kevin, Angie, Lindsey Johnson, Paige Ledlow of Skyler Fulgham, T. J, Franks, Anna Jackson, Brooke Beam and Jamie Coffey. She is also survived by twenty one great grand children, and eight great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the BIG Creek United Methodist Church (4841 Sturgis Maben Rd, Sturgis, MS 39769). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
