With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Earl Spivey Jr. of Starkville, Mississippi, born in Decatur, Mississippi, who passed away on April 20, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Spivey Sr. and Ardis Florine Spence Spivey; and his brother Ronny Dewayne Spivey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ellen Sharp Spivey of Starkville, Mississippi; his children, Lynn Spivey Boren (Stephen) of Maben, Mississippi, Kevin Spivey of Starkville, Mississippi and Keith Spivey of Starkville, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Morgan Spivey of Maben, Sarah Dishon (Carson) of Starkville, Melody Spivey of Huntsville, Madison Gregg, Merideth Gregg, Thomas Gregg and Barrett Gregg of Maben, Mississippi.; and his sister Saundra Spivey Hutton of Pearl. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
