With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Ann Stevens Eckford of Starkville, Mississippi, who passed away on September 27, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Stevens and Martha Stevens; her husband James William Eckford III; her brother Harry Stevens; and her children, Jim Eckford (Jennifer), Melanie Eckford Williams (Danny) and John Eckford (Melena). She was also cherished by seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
