He was predeceased by: his parent Dr. Sumner Danforth Davis II; and his wife Geraldine Zeiders Davis. He is survived by: his son Sumner Danforth Davis III; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Davis of Starkville; his sisters, Nancy Davis Bourne of Birmingham and Linda Davis Ledbetter (Lowell Ledbetter) of Dadeville, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Griffin Davis of Starkville and Addison Davis of Starkville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection (105 N Montgomery St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
