He is survived by: his wife Sandra Barton Echols; his daughters, Donna Echols and Pam Keenan (Michael); his grandchildren, William and Katy Keenan; and his sister Lynn Echols Zimmerman (Loren). He is also survived by five nephews and one niece, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the same location.
