He is survived by: his wife Debra Kitchens-Thrasher; his sons, William Thrasher, Jr. (Michelle) of Starkville, MS and Brian Thrasher (Kristy) of Hulka, MS; his sisters, Mary Alice Keeton (Frank) of Ackerman, Kathy Wentworth (David) of Memphis, MO and Barbara Reitz (Jerry) of Pryor, OK; his grandchildren, Joseph Thrasher (Stephanie), William Thrasher (Geanalynn), Shanna Williams (Austin), Conner Thrasher and Reagan Thrasher; and his great grandchildren, Gunner Smith, Victor Brown and Mira Thrasher. He is also survived by 7 nieces and 4 nephews.
Memorials in Boyd's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
