He is survived by: his daughter Malene Barksdale; his grandchildren, Landon Keating of Columbus, MS. and Maeleigh Barksdale of Columbus, MS.; and his siblings, Vicki Smith (Harvey) of Hesperia, MI, Gayla Roenspie, Alice Shaw (Farley) of Steens, MS, Barry Barksdale of Pass Christian, MS and Johnny Barksdale of Anniston, AL.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
