We bid farewell to Chad Wells of Steens, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 23, 2025 at the age of 77. Chad touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hoyt Wells and Edith Scott Wells; his wife Sherry Wells; and his son Joe Casmus. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Wells of Caledonia and Jamie Wells (Amanda); his grandchildren, Nicholas Wells, Meghan Wells, Britney Vogel (Bryan), Breanna Smith (Benson) and Brandon Casmus; his great grandchildren, Aspyn, Brielle and Justin; his daughter-in-law Marichu Casmus; his brother Neal Wells (Nancy); his siblings-in-law, Mary Miller (Judy Wright) and Billy Wright (Neil Wright); his caregiver Karen Jones; and his children, P. O. Box, Memphis and Columbus Lowndes Humane Society. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
