He was predeceased by: his grandparents, J. B. Scott Jr., Betty Maud Pumphrey Scott, Floyd Calvin Eaton and Sarah Lee Clements Eaton. He is survived by: his parents, Icie Scott and William Scott (Sonny) of Woodland, Mississippi.; his wife Maria Scott; his children, Brooke Scott, Taylor Stephens and Madison Traywick (Carson); his brothers, Hank Scott (Stacie) and Harmon Scott (Beth); and his siblings' children, Hannah, Liam Grey, Carter, Lee, Robert, Josh and James Scott.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lone Oak Cemetery Fund or the Cancer Research Institute in support of Colorectal cancer research.
