He is survived by: his wife Hilda Simmons Alexander; his daughters, Kimberly Dawn Wright (Kirk) and April Michelle Lund (Erik); his grandchildren, Zachary Wright (Alexandra), Lauren Verble (Josh), Hannah Nerenberg (Zack) and Daniel Wright; and his great grandchildren, Carter Howard, Evelyn Nerenberg and Astrid Nerenberg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Steens First Baptist Church, 40 Odom Road, Steens, MS 39766.
