Mark Floyd Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, at the age of 62, Mark Floyd of Steens, Mississippi passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mark Floyd to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Mark is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mark's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A Floyd and Wanda Hopkins Floyd. He is survived by: his wife Rita Floyd; and his brother Keith Floyd (Connie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rowan Cemetery Chapel.
