She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Blair and Laura Blair; her husband Dexter Cochran; her son Timothy Dexter Cochran; her siblings, JC, Edward, Frank, Clyde, David, Leroy, Walter, Wayne and Rebecca; and her great grandchildren, Sawyer Steenstra and Bella Strait.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Strait of Brooksville; her grandchildren, Sabrina Strait, David Strait (Starla), Margaret Strait, Paul Strait (Kathryn) and Michael Strait (Charith); her great grandchildren, Madison Strait, Ellie Strait, Kemper Strait, Ian Strait and Micah Strait; her daughter Nina Steenstra of Steens; her grandchildren, Tiffany Hutchins (Wiley), Alan Steenstra (Monica) and Justin Steenstra (April); her great grandchildren, Blair McCleskey (Cooper), Eva Ward, Gavin Ward, Carter Hutchins, Ann Lynleigh Hutchins, Darby Steenstra, Molly Steenstra, Iris Steenstra, Jackson Steenstra, Abby Gonzales and Isla Boykin; her great great grandchild Dexter McCleskey; her brothers, Joe Blair (Ruth) and Loyd Blair; and her sister-in-law Dale Haggard.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
