He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Stone Carmichael and Lula Mae Carmichael (Billie Virginia Carmichael); and his brother Aubrey R. "Cobb" Carmichael. He is survived by: his children, Kris Carmichael (Margaret) and Allison Carmichael; and his grandson Trent Brashier. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
