He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulmer Jackson and Pearl Jackson (Fagan); his former wives, Patricia Jackson and Ethel Jackson; his daughters, Rachel Robinson and Tammy Jackson; his great grandchild Kaitlynn Murray; and his siblings, Jimmy Jackson, Leon Jackson, Ernest Jackson, Mabry Jackson, Woody Jackson, Beatrice Yarbrough, Doris Privett, Merle Hamrick, Mildred Dunnam, Connie Nabors, Bernice Jordan, Ruby Woolley and Eunice Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Virgie "Cookie" Wade; his sons, Johnny Ray Jackson, Jr. (Tonya), Danny Smith (Shelia), Bruce Martin (Tammy) and Charles Martin (Tammy); his stepson Kenny Wade; his daughter Kim Hansard (Fred); his stepdaughters, Emily Donald (Gary), Angie Gibbs (Billy Joe) and Mary Johnson (Tim); and his sisters, Sybil Parker and Patsy Sisson. He is also survived by 29 Grandchildren, 45 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
