He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnson; his children, Shelia Welborn (Keith), Susan Stringer (Kevin) and Tim Henry (Tanya); his grandchildren, Amanda Whatley (Larry), Kayla Long (Kaleb), Taylor Avera (Cole), Jamie Herrington (Delayne), Tori Henry, Bryce Henry (Andie), Lacy Walker (Chris), Jessica Ackerman (Clint) and Sydney Stringer; his great grandchildren, Parker Kate Avera, Tae Alvarez, Zeke Long, Alec Avera, Branson Long, Halle Akerman, Lawson Akerman, Olivia Akerman, Caitlyn Garrett Boyd, Colby Garrett and Riley Garrett; his siblings, Billy Henry (Wiletta), Tony Henry and Beverly Martian (John); his brother-in-law Frank Oliphant; and his nephew Eric Oliphant (Sandra).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Edon Baptist Church (576 Co Rd 7, Stringer, MS 39481). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
