She was predeceased by: her parents, John George Lewis and Quida Denman Lewis; her son James "Smitty" Smith; and her brother George Wayne Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Drott of Sturgis, MS; her children, Dan Smith (Rhonda) of Charleston and Ginger Meriwether (Al) of Holcomb; her grandchildren, Meredith, Will Meriwether, Kizer and Luke Smith; and her siblings, Kaye Lewis Wetzel of Sarasota, FL and Kennon "Denny" Lewis of Pope, MS..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 25th 2027 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cascilla Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 25th 2027 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Family requests memorials be sent to Wake Forest Baptist Church, 1501 Sturgis-Maben Road, Sturgis, MS or to the TGH ECF fund for others within their care or a charity of choice.
