He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Douglas Bridges and Edna Mae Otts Bridges; his sister Judy Marshall; and his grandchildren, Ethan Fortenberry and C. J. Davis.
He is survived by : his wife Florine Bridges; his children, Melissa Fortenberry (Paul) and Jeffery Bridges (Donna); his siblings, Richard Bridges, Joan Westbrook, Jean Patterson and Nell Flippo; his grandchildren, Claire Hudson (Andrew), Kaitlin Fortenberry, Katelyn Davis and Erin Davis; and his great grandchild Cooper Andrew Hudson.
