He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston Lamar Therrell, Sr. and Jimmie Lee Spurlock Therrell; his wife Polly Therrell; his daughter Kay Ellsworth; and his siblings, Raleigh Therrell and Barbara Therrell.
He is survived by: his children, David Whitehead (Sue) of Denver, Tonya Therrell Krone of Summit, MS and Gina Smith (Paul) of Summit, MS; his grandchildren, Adam Whitehead, Ben Whitehead (Melissa), Melissa, Nicholas Ellsworth, Evan Smith (Miranda), Kelley Ott (Kaci), Sean Smith (Danielle), Ryan Smith (Sierra), Savanna Moore (Landon) and Jax Smith; and his son-in-law Morgan Ellsworth. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, numerous friends and other relatives.
