We announce the death of Rickey F. Watts of Summit, Mississippi, who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 70. Rickey will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Fuzz" Watts and Helen Roberts Watts; his siblings, Cynthia Ann Watts Hodges and Thomas Columbus Watts; his parents-in-law, Willie and Sylvia Patt; and his brothers-in-law, Bobby Welch and Larry Barlow.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Watts; his daughter Rikki Leanne Phillipson (Sam); his brother Albert "Buddy" Watts (Becky); his uncle Glyn "Dick" Watts (Glenda); his grandchildren, Cailyn Brown (Brandon Jones), Bella Brown (Ben Mixon), Evan Johnson and Nathan Johnson; his great grandchildren, Sloan Brown, Ellis McCaffery and Davis Wayne Jones; his grandchildren, Blake Phillipson (Madison), Ethan Phillipson and Emily Koestler (Tobbie); his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Mazelynn; and his pets, Tilly Grace and Rocky. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
