She is survived by: her sister Betty Jane Podewells; her nieces, Margo Sorrell and Candy Sorrell; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley Sorrell-Duety, Dylan Ford, Brittany Sorrell and Blake Sorrell; and her friend Denise Shoen.
