He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Lou Ward Johnson and William Gus "Bill" Johnson; and his siblings, Raymond Johnson and Linda Smith. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Barfield Johnson; his son Ryan Johnson (Desi) of Petal; his granddaughter Luna; and his siblings, Don Johnson (Lane) of Ridgeland and Joy Walker of Madison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
