She was predeceased by : her husband Don Bradley; her parents, Walter Thompson and Hattie Thompson; and her siblings, Roscoe, Roy Thompson, Hazel Lott and Gladys McBryde.

She is survived by : her children, Frank Carter (Sherree) and Vicky Brown (Ricky); and her siblings, Shirley McCardle, Hilda Clinton, Alice Davis and Huey Thompson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
