He was predeceased by: his parents, Hinton Powell and Shirley Powell; his wife Veronica Powell; and his brother Ken Powell. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Jennifer Forsmark of Petal, MS; and his aunt Penny Stringer of Sumrall, MS.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home Sumrall Chapel (150 Crossland Rd, Sumrall, MS 39482). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
