He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Phillips and Mayzelle Opal Phillips; and his sister Jamie Phillips Roddey. He is survived by: his wife Suzi; his children, Macon Phillips, Jason Thomas, Stefanie Moore, Katherine Powell and Brooke Moore; his grandchildren, Jonathon Phillips, Caleb Phillips, Carter Phillips, Garrett Phillips, Aubree Moore, Avery Moore, Parker Powell, Jackson Powell, Eva Rae Moore and Reese Moore; his great grandchild Jonathan Phillips; and his sisters, Sandra Hatton and Sallie Rustin. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ellisville Funeral Home (1204 B Avenue, Ellisville, MS 39437). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church (1743 MS-29, Ellisville, MS 39437).
