He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sims and Alice Dahlquist Sims; and his siblings, Charlie Jo Sims, John Sims, Carolyn Carmen (Bunny) and Dorothy Landrum.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sims; his daughters, Shauna Galbraith (Shawn) and Jennifer Hawkins (Bob); his grandchildren, Luke Hawkins and Sims Hawkins; his siblings, Clarence Sims, Jr. and Linda Nix (Stanley); and his great grandchild Greyson Hawkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
