Diffey of Tchula, Mississippi, born in Sharkey, Mississippi, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Choyce Henderson Diffey and Ocie Mae Bates Diffey; and his sister Donie Ruth Childs. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ann Diffey; his sons, Stan Diffey (Angela) of Sallis and Steve Diffey of Goodman; and his grandchildren, Grace Diffey Whitehead (Josh) of Camden, Tyler Diffey of Lexington, Elise Diffey of Sallis, Choyce S. Diffey II of Sallis and Anna Diffey of Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Village or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
