With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Townsend of Terry, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hosey and Lucille Hosey; and her siblings, Pat Hosey, Paul Hosey, Gene Hosey, Bill Hosey and Nell Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Townsend; her sister Liz Nations (Wilbur); her children, Beth Luna (Alex), Kim Lawrence (James) and Dena Wells (David); her grandchildren, Brittney Thompson (Dustin), Brian Barlow (Kalyn), Bryce Barlow, Blake Luna (Rebekah), Taylor Luna (Alex), Anna Luna, Abbey Luna, Olivia Wells, Alexa Wells and Easton Wells; and her great grandchildren, Harper Luna, Ben Luna, Paisley Luna, Carter McLaine Thompson, Whitton Thompson, Josephine Thompson, Jaxen Barlow, Kason Barlow and Waylyn Barlow.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
