He was predeceased by: his wife Betty M. Speake. He is survived by: his children, Jerri Byrd (Mike), Mark Manning, Ben Speake (Kathy) and Bobby Speake (Kim); and his grandsons, John Henry Speake, Asa Speake, Alan Manning and Mason Manning. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wynndale Baptist Church (11287 Springridge Rd, Terry, MS 39170). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
