With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William M. Davis of Terry, Mississippi, who passed away on January 13, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carruther Davis and Eunice Davis; his siblings, Carruther Jones Davis Jr. and Madge Tabb Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Tabb, Justice Robert L. Jones and Rita Heidisch-Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie; his brother Clifton B. Davis of Grand Rapids, Michigan; his children, Susan Davis Egger (Perry) of Madison, Mississippi, Mac Davis (Wendi) of Southlake, Texas, Steve Davis (Robbie) of Germantown, Tennessee and Charles Davis (Brenda) of Raymond, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Stephanie Davis Bailey (Brice), Lauren Egger Williamson (Thomas), Emily Davis, Abigail Butler, Matthew Davis, Justin Egger (Sarah) and Andrew Butler; his great grandchildren, Jackson Hasie, Livie, Wells Bailey, Tate, Andrew Williamson and Mackenzie Egger; his niece Lara Davis Kessler (Nils); and his nephews, Kirk Davis (Regina) and Eric Davis (LaGina).
The family respectfully requests any memorial donations be made to Hinds Community College General Scholarship Fund, the Memory Impairment and Neurodegenerative Dementia Center (MIND Center) at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, First Baptist Church in Raymond, or the organization of your choice.
