He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Burtis Garrett and Agnes Etoye Lambert Garrett; and his wife Betty Waldrop Garrett. He is survived by: his sister Ollie Hester; his son Ray (Marcia); and his grandchildren, Victoria and Alexander. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
