She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliot H. Hardy and Ava Mae Hardy; and her siblings, Glen Hardy and Bonnie Batten. She is survived by: her sons, Carl James (Diana) of Vaughan and Billy H. "Bubba" James (Bonnie) of Charleston; her siblings, Ray Hardy, Bob Hardy of Tippo, DeLois Douglas of Tippo and Jimmie Lauderdale of Charleston; and her grandchildren, Katrina James of Vaughan, Krystal Boatner (Bo) of Vaughan, Maegan Gordon (Tom) of Oakland and Billy G "B. J." James (Amy) of Charleston. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cowart Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at the Tippo Cemetery.
