She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rudolph Monroe and Bernice King Monroe; her husband Billy Haynie; her daughter Sharon Patterson; and her brother Lanny Monroe.

She is survived by: her stepson Russell W. Haynie; her sister-in-law Janis; her nephew Jeremy Haynie (Christina); and her great-nephew Jayce Haynie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
