He was predeceased by : his father Charles Barnes; his grandparents, Corbin, Frances Whitehurst, Bal and Marie Barnes; his sister Kathy Barnes McMeans; and his uncle Larry Whitehurst.
He is survived by : his mother Betty Barnes; his brother Jerry Barnes of Corinth; his children, Alyson White of Burnsville, Jeremy Barnes of Etta and Derek Barnes of Tishomingo; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Straub, Mackenzie Straub, Channing Spires, Robert Grice and Mitchell Jones; his nephew Tyler Barnes; and his nieces, Amy Glover, Lacy Dallas and Jessica Jeter.
